Default RC Injectors - gaskets?

Hey guys,

I bought a set of used RC 310's that I was going to install today. I pulled out my old injectors and realized that the stock gaskets (lower) don't seem to fit properly. Unfortunately my injectors did not come with the gaskets.

The stock gaskets seem to be slightly too large in diameter to fit into the IM and not quite tall enough to ensure a tight fit.

If it matters, they are going in a ported b18a manifold.

Anyone have any suggestions? I have gotten in touch with RC about new gaskets (no reply as of yet).

THanks,
Adam

They should come with new gaskets, at least my 440cc's did.

Go to a parts store and get 4 injector seal kits for a 90 CRX Si. The kit includes all the o-rings and 2 different sizes of the injector manifold seals. These kits worked great when I needed seals for my 97 GS-R.

I installed 310s using stock seals on a 00 Si. Worked well.

Really? Stock b series injectors are smaller in diameter than the RC's (end that goes into the manifold). I found the stock seals to be too large in overall diameter once stretched around the injector.

Yeah they will be too big if you stretch them, I didn't stretch mine, I just place it in the seal and left it where it stops. I am going to change it though.

Anyone else?

Has anyone installed the sl2-310's in a b18a manifold/rail before? I can't see why the installation would differ from any other b series...

I tried the CRX gaskets and although they seem like they would fit better, it still doesn't seem quite right to me...

Thanks,
Adam

i had the same problem. the injectors didn't seem to fit snug. felt really loose they seemed to sit too high. i unbolted the fuel rail and i ended up cutting the spacers in half which caused the injectors to sit lower after that everything was fine.
