Default CRX HF vs GSXR-750...Video inside

I work with this guy, Its from http://www.homemadeturbo.com, last night he went to Bristoll for "Street Fights"
1st run was <FONT COLOR="red">13.3 at 109</FONT>, no tuning and tire pressure normal on BFG drags
he ran 6-6 times...
then 2nd best............<FONT COLOR="red">12.900 at 113</FONT>
and lastly...................<FONT COLOR="red">12.942 at 119</FONT>


This is his set up with his permission...

<FONT COLOR="green">89 CRX HF (let's hear it for sub 1900 lb rides)
LS/VTEC
Darton flanged sleeves (open deck design) with blockguard
Eagles/Wisecos
B17 head (whoopty - like it matters)
00-01 ITR cams aka CTR
Some brand valvetrain or other
DIY log manifold
SSAC Super T70 (the ONLY good SSAC turbo)
Edelbrock IM
Precision 880cc
Walbro 255
GM 3 bar MAP
Crome

Yeah, I thought about that, but I wanted all the Ef ers in H-T to see it first...Its a crazy fast car for a CRX that this kid does all the work, he even welded his own turbo maifold and stuff...Installed his own LSD also...he a very knowledgeable guy.

GSXR-750, worse part, the guy knows all of us and he just installed some sprockets to make it quicker...lol...

Also BTW, at Bristoll Wes beat a guy with a 45K modded Cobra 04-05 car...Walked him into 3rd.

Yeah, but look at the trap speed, 119...is great...Even with an LSD and Those BFG drag radials 225/50/r15s he spins a lot, he has a two stage boost switch also to help get off the line and then after 2nd gear switches to high boost. We are hunting for real M&H slicks now.

thats tru though. he is spinnin. that trap is good for low 12s at least. wats his 60'?

The best he had was a <FONT COLOR="red">R/T of .111</FONT> with the <FONT COLOR="red">60' at 2.1</FONT>

But he is right at the 1st to 2nd gear change and the second gear is not idleal in his tranny so he can't slam it into 2nd.
