Default Honda Bond Cure Time

I just used Honda Bond on my new oil pan gasket. Says to wait 60 seconds to dry, did that. Says takes 13-16 hours for it to cure to a rubber like state. Says takes about 3 days to fully set up.

Q. At what point can i add the oil and drive the car? Do i have to wait the 3 days?

thx

Hondabond.. Good Stuff. Let it setup for 10 hours, that should be more than enough. I just did a new oilpan on my Accord. I let it setup for about 2 hours. No leaks or anything (2 months).

as soon as you through the pan on the motor, let it sit for a couple minutes and then dump the oil in. start the car, and it should be good. it takes that long for it to cure but it wont let any oil leak through. guaranteed... never had a problem...

one last thing. is it possible to over tighten the bolts on the oil pan? it looks like the gasket is squeezing out the edges of the oil pan. should i loosen them or do i need to start over and do it again or just leave it?
