Delivery date is a month late. Has the boat been hi-jacked? Seriously though, do you guys have any updates as to when people that ordered these will receive them?

1) Is there any further word on what collector gasket we need to use,
or if it will be provided?

2) In light of the recent problems with the carsound cat (cat material falling out and rolling around)...If we run into a problem, who do we talk to about a replacement, you, or carsound?

Yup...my brother is waiting on my old header to build his ls/vtec, I'm waiting for my header to give my bro my old header, but it's all good.

 

I can feel the pain of those that have to wait. The Spoon wheel group buy that I signed up for was over 4 months ago, and the wheels are nowhere to be seen.

 

I have also been waiting patiently for the arrival of the headers. I pre-ordered the TypeOne. I would like to know or have an idea of when it will be here though, if that is at all possible.

 

Spoon headers are back ordered from Spoon . We have paid for the parts but Spoon cannot supply to us for the moment. I will get more info from Spoon and I will keep everyone posted by next week. Very sorry for the inconvience.

TypeONE headers did came in in a small quantity so please ask Mike @ IPS for more information. I will have atleast 30 headers by late March or Early April.

 

What about the Spoon calipers? Are they on back-order also?

 

Order 1 piece of part is nice . Procedure is just buy and ship.

Order in 50 pcs or more ..well, guess

Were you in the GB?, I have spoken to just about everyone in it and they all know the situation.

 

Any idea as to how many headers a small quantity is and who will be getting them? I probably got in on this at the tail end of things in early January, so that small quantity will most likely go to someone other than me. I just like to budget my finances ahead of time and would like to know a general idea of when things are going to happen. If it not until April that is quite awhile to hold a deposit (IMHO). But I dont know what you guys are dealing with and I am sure you are doing the best job you can. Just keep me posted .

shoot if you got on it at the end of January. ill be the LAST to get the header. i ordered mine right before Mike was gonna turn the final list to AJ .

How do I get more info on this header? I haven't heard anything about this header? Is there a Web page I can check out?

I would look towards an SMSP B20 header since you have more displacement these days.

I have been so busy at my new job, not so new, I've been there 18 months now. I barely have time to come on the boards anymore.

Anyway, I just finished my CRVtec last week. I won't bore everyone with the details, but lets just say there weren't any corners cut......it is done the right way. The last two pieces I need to decide on are the engine mangement (AEM EMS, DFI, Haltec or Hondata) and the header . I currently have my old JDM ITR header on and a Toda in my closet, until I am finished breaking it in. I am not sure I want to use the Toda with this setup, so I have just contacted Dave @ SMSP and will probably talk to John @ Hytech in the next few days.
