hardtop rattles, wat should i do?
hey guys, just a quick question for all you out there with hardtops. does your hardtop or hardtop hinges rattle when you hit bumps? mine does (but is it because my car is lowered??) It gets annoying so whats the best way to stop it or reduce the rattling? thanks for your help.

nope mine doesn;t but everything else rattles inside haha....which HT do u have?

its an oem hard top from the dealership.. a fren installed it. seemed okay at first but the hinges just keep rattling soon after the ground controls were installed so its like an inch and 1/2 inch off the floor (seems like a bad idea). is there some kinda silicone or padding i can buy to reduce sound? Theres a black lining of padding under the top, but it gets in the way cause when i roll my windows up, it kinda gets stops the windows from rolling all the way up...

seems like your hardtop wasn't installed/adjusted properly. you will have to play around with it to get it right

SHUT UP Nishant cuz you dont have a hardtop LMAO HAHAHAH ...
it could be cuz the catchers are worn ... does it rattle or it squeak? if its just squeking, try to oil/lubricant (nishant prefer KY jelly
) on the rubber seals
