i just purchased a 94 integra ls with a bad motor.. i have currently a 98 obd 2 gsr motor in my 91 civic hatch.. just curious what am i all going to need to put my b18c1 into the ls.. i tried searching but all i could find was how to ls vtec.. will my gsr dizzy work fine i know your suppse to wire vtec.. but just wondering what ls electricals and parts are compatable with my obd 2 b18c1 thanks!!!

 

Use the LS tranny, buy an OBD-2 engine harness, and an OBD-1 P72 ECU. Everything will plug right up and you'll only have 4 wires to run.

 

is there no way to use the LS wire harness?

 

There is, but it requires additional wiring. Things like the distributor will have to be repinned for it to work. Plus you'll have a perfectly good LS harness you can sell to help offset the cost.

 

is there a easy way to change the ls wire harness to run the gsr.. the wire harness i have is all chopped up quite a bit from the previous owner.. will the ls dizzy internals swap out and work with the gsr dizzy internals?
