+ flashing lights or (-) ?

what's the output of your unit?
are using some form of meter to test the wires or just hoping that they work?

if it's a negative output, then it's not going to work when you need a + pulse, and just trying wires, and not testing is just stupid. quit now and let a professional take over.

If you knew what the output was you would know wether or not you would need a relay, and if you tested the wire you would know what you required, any wire GUIDE is simply that a guide to help you test and find the wires that you need.

installing anything in a car by just hooking up wires and hoping they are right is incredibly stupid, at worst you should at least be using a test light to find out what wires are what ... if you can't figure out the output of the unit and are uncapable of testing the wires you are connecting to, then you my friend have no business installing an alarm in any car...

Okay. Get a test light, and put the clip to ground, and touch the probe to the light flash output on the alarm. Then press your lock button on the remote. If the light in the test light illuminates, then you've got a positive output on the alarm. Hook that wire directly up the the parking light wire in your 'Teg.
