ANYONE RUN 6PSI ON THEIR EF? I want to know how much faster it is on a stock B16a motor.. As far as HP and time wize. thanks for the reply guys

hey how much can a stock motor hold up to? 10psi? how much faster is it with 7psi, 8 psi and 10 psi.. i want to see how big of a difference in boost; im gettin my setup in soon..

depends on your compression ratio, you can run 20psi on a 10.2:1 ratio and it'll hold for about 5 min before you have 4 nice sized hole in the top of your hood. typicaly a 9.5:1 compression ratio is a safe one to be at to play around w/ bost over 6psi. becareful and tune properly
Also depends on your altitude. If your about 5000ft above sea leval(Denver) you can generally run 2psi more than what the same engine can run down there.
Its all about tuning. I blew my valves at 6psi, UNTUNED AND STUPID.
I run about 8.9:1 on my LS its a little but I like it. 4-6psi feels about the same and so does 9-10. You just got to experience it dude. Its great. This is just my feeling about boost though.
