Just got my Falken Azenis 205/50/15s.

I've got a quick question. The tires obviously have an inside and an outside, but are they directional? I don't see any markings on the side of the tire.

 

nope... just asymmetrical. Make sure that the big blocks are on the outside of the tire and you'll be fine

When did you order them and from where? I am wondering what the wait time is right now. I am starting to get tempted to wait and see what the new Kumho is going to be like.. supposed to be real, real good...

 

I should have access to 2-3 more sets of azenis by the end of next week. $68 + $8 shipping (unless you can pic'm up yourself in KC).

I was planning on the V700's myself, but the cost is pushing me to run azenis as a medium step between my other tires & full race tires.

I ordered them from Vulcan Tire about a month ago. Obviously there weren't in stock at the time. $62 a tire, it came to $284 with shipping.

 

Great question....I spoke with a local shop here in kc (non-racing shop). They ordered 20 while I was there. I listened to them on the phone calling the distributor who was going to have them in 3 days, so it would be ~7 days before they show up here.

The guy is taking a risk, 'cause I said I could probably find 5 buyers for him, but 2-3 sets are sold in the first day (just other R owners here). If 3 of the 5 are sold, then he'll go $68 a tire.

Oh yea - for what it's worth....I won't divulge the location of the tire shop until I personnally see the tires there.

I think it sucks ***** when places like vulcan tire or others sell tires that they don't have & then notify you AFTER the fact...

 

Hey i'm in for 2 sets if i can't find them localy. for 15" and 16".

 

I'm definitely in for this if they get there.
