Default Very weird picture request...

Anybody got a picture of a NON-Vtec 4th Gen engine? Or more specifically, the valve cover? Like from an H23 or an F22? I know it's a strange request, but I'd really like to see under the hood of a 4th gen other than mine...

All H23 shots. The F22 is a SOHC...so it's easy to tell.

F22's are USUALLY SOHCs but there is the DOHC JDM F22B that looks like this but is virtually the same as the H23. Cams are interchangeable, H23 header fits etc. :

I got it here--https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1177093

Buy the Accord model he has and all you have to is drill one of the holes a little bigger. I'm sure it will fit your SH as long as there's not any crap physically in its' way.

The new Ingalls damper that just came out is ******* $350 and these are just as good and only $80 or so.

So a stock H22 head made that much more power than a stock H23 head?? Or did you have some work done to the new H22 head?

As mentioned in many other posts, at least in my hands, the reworked oversize valve h23 head I was using is approximately the same as a stock h22 (but still might even be worse). A properly worked h22 head will all the oversize goodies and port work, will make much more power than an h23. That is what I have done...and the power is real

Thanks, I had read some of your other posts, but i wasn't sure on the details. I know you made around 500hp on the h23 head, so if I can get even close to that with mine I'll be very happy.
