Default How much should i charge

A kid called me wants to know how much i would want to put on a t-bo kit on a 92 h23 lude? i only do stuff to my car so i never know how much to charge someone else

Take the amount of man-hours you put into installing the turbo kit on your car (approximate), multiply it by $50/hr, add $50 for parts/aggrevation, and there's your total.

If he doesn't like it, tell him to have someone else do it.

Just make sure you examine the engine first. If it's old and has lots of corrosion, add another $100 for the pain-in-the-*** factor.

call some shops in your area to see how much they charge for labor, charge him like 5 bucks less an hour, so he cant say a rep. shop can do the same for the same price, make him give you half up front, just because ive been screwed by doing work for someone, and then they not have the cash on them then, and i loose time + money.
