annoying vibration

Default annoying vibration

ef hatch/ b18/s1...vibration thru shifter...stops when i pull up on lever...dunno wut to replace...heres an attempted pic of integra shift linkage off of acuras site...if it dont work...heres a link to it http://estore.honda.com/images...A.png...also...if civic and teg shifters are the same...i would gladly buy a stock one of someone.

More than likely your shift linkage is sitting on your exhaust. When i installed a short throw shifter in my previous car, i had to have a minor bend in the exhaust to accomodate the movement between shifts.

NOTE: This was on a 93 integra.

mine did the same thing, problem = shift linkage on exhaust...if it's that annoying, go underneath the car and check it out.

I have the same problem and it's NOT from the shifter hitting the exhaust. I'm actually starting to wonder if its part #8 in that image that is causing the noise.

oh! sometimes those bushings/orings go out...that happened to me aswell. it made it hard to shift (move to the left to put it in 1st or 2nd and move it to the right 5th and reverse...) is that happening to you aswell?

sometimes...i wanna go bak to stock...and the cheapest i can find is a 93 civic shifter...wil that fit on integra shift linkage?
