I just got a 2001 CRV and I was wondering about the keyless entry. It came with both regular keys, so what is needed to get keyless entry? If I bought a Remote with program...do the CRV's all come equipped with keyless or is there a seperate thing I would need to buy?? Thanks

 

What trim is the CRV?

 

I think it is a LX. There is no badge..but it has power windows and locks...and AC! I looked at the title and it said CRV type V... any help??

no, thats what i was thinking. I am going to say it is an LX so will I have to buy a whole system?

you're going to want to get one installed, or you can check with Honda parts, give them your vin and they should be able to tell you if your car originally had one.
