Its not the fuggin cam seal. i have built plenty of these to know what a leaking cam seal is...i replaced the vtec solenoid seal already. but its still leaking from that area!

i have cleaned the surface to completey dry and it leaks from around the vtec solenoid. i'm reassembling it again right now with a new seal and rtv on it. we'll see how that works. if that doesn't do it. the heads coming off and going back to the machine shop to be decked and rechecked for cracks... i doubt its a crack because when its just sitting not running it doesn't leak...

what about that oil orifice that needs to get plugged for ls/vtec? did you tap it and plug it properly?

look on the bottom of the head right under the dizzy. There should be an allen key to plug up a oil hole. It could be leaking from there. Its right in the corner

LOL if i forgot to plug that i shouldn't be anywhere near a honda. The vtec solenoid was damaged on the bottom corner so it wasn't holding it flush. i fixed it and now no more leaks! Thanks for the opinions guys.
