i had a turbo with bearings so bad that oil just shot past them; i wasn't running an oil restrictor either.

wound up dropping oil pressure just long enough to spin a bearing

could also be a restriction in your system; clogged filter or buildup in a passage/line somewhere

what is your oil presser reading?

we just finished a lsvtec with a t60 turbo and spun 2 rod bearings day after because the turbo broke down the oil so quick. now we run 20-50 vr1 racing oil. no problem since. ww did not have a oil pressure guage and the datalog for the hondata could read every sensor but could not pickup a signal for the oil sensor,by time the oil light came on it was to late.

try changing the oil and it's weight,it worked for us so myabe it can work for you.

durin normal drivin the gauge reads 1 bar-1.5 bar of pressure... durin WOT goin into boost it's fightin its way pass 2.25 bar of pressure..

1 bar= 14.7

im using vr1 20-50 as well.. should i take off the oil pump n see if it has marks???

ok before you do that go start the car look at the boost guage or datalog while the car is at idle. look at the vacume readings with out you foot on the brake or anything. push the clutch in all the way and tell me what the vacume dropped to. if it does drop to the point where the car wants to stall when you push the clutch in you have hurt the motor internally.

if all looks good then i would just replace the pump.
