Default Messed up Steering rack!

The bolt that fits into the hub assembly that controls the steering...that's redundant...but anyway. I was tightening up the castle nut to that bolt and i was noticing it was just spinning...So I was looking and the bolt and the bearing was just spinning! How do i fix that?! Do i have to replace the whole steering rack? **** i hope not....please help me out. I am almost done getting my car back on the road and this is the last thing preventing me from putting the brakes, tires etc...

any help will do....

that's happened to me before. just get an impact if you have one readily available and just tap it a few times. that's worked for me in the past.

the tie rod where it bolts to the spindle? just wedge the top of the tie rod down with a hammer, that'll jam it in there so it doesn't spin.
