progressive.com will be able to give you estimates, even if u dont own the car, just asks for type and all the specs, check it out, will give u prices of other companies too, well, estimated prices but that should give you a good idea...

how many years have u had ur license? due to ur age, u probably will be paying a hefty price for insurance. if i remember correctly, i was quoted around 400 a month for my brother's type S. i had my license for about a year and was 21 at the time. i didnt want to pay that much so i just got an EP3 instead which was still pretty high, but i could live with it.

i put 10k down on my rsx...i got it for 23,300 +fees...with 2.9 apr. my monthly payment is 296 @60mon. so ur car payment wont be a pain in the *** wit 10k down. my insurance is 722 for 6 months...but thats the top full coverage...that 300,xxx-250,xxx-300,xxx. so if u get the lower one that covers like 100,xxx-50,xxx-100,xxx then u should pay even less.

edit: oh yea i got an SSM 05 rsx type s

the easy way around the insurance thing. If you have a clean record. bring up the deductible to $1000 an deny any extra coverage. Like GAP, uninsured motorist etc. sure you wont get as much $ in case disaster strikes. but youll have lower monthly payments. Always call and see what the difference is between company's overall Geico seems to be a lil cheaper. Good luck

1. call about 5 insurance agencies and get quotes

2. take the price of the car minus $10,000 and divide that by how many months your payments will be
