ok my friend is sellin his car and is lookin for a honda to buy ... me and my freind are tryin to convince him that a turbo vtec cr-v would be crazy ....... awd with like 500whp ...... he would have the money to have it fully built ... write what ya think

 

I have often times found my self wondering and dreaming about doing this swap. I dunno much about CR-V personally, but in an issue of HondaTuning I saw a guy with an EK with a b20 that laid down 297 whp and 12 sec time slips. That was a couple of years ago, and logically I don't see why it could not work in a CR-V. Here's an idea...
Step 1 ) get a case of coronas,
Step 2 ) get your buddy real drunk
Step 3 ) Tell him he should buy a CR-V "right now"
Step 4*) Let destiny take it from there

*if this doesn't work force him to do it.

Seriously, keep us posted on his decision and any progress to be made. But, I would say 300 whp would be sufficient enough. CR-V (and most other SUVs) are top heavy and I imagine that this will be his daily driver. Either way, it should make for one dope whip. Definitely worthy of the cover of HondaTuning.
