Default b20/vtec?

right now im running a 95 civic ex coupe with a jdm b16a swap with dc headers, cai, exhaust, ctr intake cam, vafc2 controller. I want more torque and i was thinkin about doing b20 block with the b16a head. Im not sure if i wanna do that or if i should build my bottom end. If i do the b20/vtec, does anyone know a good b20/vtec kit i should use? Ive seen a couple on ebay with the line, head gasket, and fittings. but idk. im still undecided about b20/vtec or keep the b16. Some input would help.

I would go b20/vtec or Ls/vtec..you just won't get the same torque out the b16 as you would with a b20 or ls bottom end...golden eagle sells the ls/vtec conversion kit which is the same one im using on my setup..goodluck..

Well whats really scary is tonight i raced a gutted LS EF Hatch and i missed 4th so bad my vafc told me the highest rpm was 9999 because it does read 5 digits
so that means i revved past 10,000 rpms it didnt blow up tho amazingly. Some one told me I should get my valves adjusted because now i have a slight valve tap. Also I was on the golden eagle site, does anyone hear good things about their products?

well.... donf on this board uses their stuff i believe. that should be enough experience for anyone to trust. if you have doubts ask him ... he owns dfe enterprises out of jacksonville fl. he could build it for you and do port work if needed..that is... for a price of course... but you get what you pay for.

I used the Golden Eagle VTEC kit on my motor, absolutely no oil leaks or problems with it.

thats exactly why honda put rev governers on there.. my friend and i were screwin around on the freeway the other day i got a single cam vtec in the hatch an hes got a b16 swap.... and he went to shift and throttle got stuck.. now what would happen if that 8200 rev governer wasnt there.. can we say kaboom..

now put your rev governer no higher than 9500.. nobody needs to be revving that high anyway
