Honda Concerto Engine dies whilst driving then will restart
Honda Concerto programmed fuel injector 16 valve , whilst driving the engine dies as though it has run out of petrol but it will restart and drive pefectly normally for a while then die again. Is there a cam shaft sensor on this engine which might give such a problem?
Any suggestions welcome.

Without more info on specific engine info /scenario I would say a fuel filter in either the tank or under the hood (bonnet). It might be that there is dirt/rust in the gas tank and the particles are accumulating on the filter. The filter gets clogged, fuel stops flowing and kills the engine. With the power off the particles fall off the filter and then the filter is unclogged again... repeat process.
If you offer a better description of what is happening to the car/engine others might be more willing to assist you. Most members of Honda-Tech are from the US and have no idea what a Honda Concerto is let alone what engine it has and the modifications you have done to it.

Just getting to grips with the American language, a camshaft sensor may be the same as a TDC sensor since it detects TDC on the flywheel and sends a signal to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) which then supplies fuel to the carburettor. I had a similar problem with a Rover 214 SEi which I cured immediately by replacing the sensor with a £5 used sensor from a scrap dealer. I have been reading postings with similar problems and replies seem to indicate that an "ignitor" located in the distributer may be the problem. I have no idea what an ignitor looks like or what the Scottish equivalent term might be. One user suggested removing the ignitor, is this a possible cure? I reckon a Concerto to be similar to a Civic . I have made no modifications.
Problem found and solved, it was the "ignition module" , AKA " ignitor " located in distributor.
Thanks for all comments, and especially the forum which I found most useful since I found a consensus of opinion leading to the ignitor.
