Putting new exhaust housing on garrett T3 ? Garrett experts help!!!
Ok, so I am turboing my 98 accord, which I received a kit last week. Upone receiving the kit I noticed that the exhaust side house had two small cracks in it. Some guy wants to sell me a Brand new one for $60. My QUESTION is; How hard is it to replace this exhaust housing, does it require special tool, or basically does it "bolt on"? I just don't want to end up with a pile of junk....THANK YOU
its just a few bolts, not hard at all, and no special tools required, that is to the best of my knowledge. I'd wait for someone else to chime in though.

as long as the wheel stage is the same it will just bolt on.
I swapped a .48 AR exhaust housing on to my turbo, it originally had a .63 AR exhaust.
Its just a matter of taking the bolts off, sliding off the housing and putting the new one on. No balancing or anything like that, its not a turbo rebuild.
