another thing to think about, i forgot who (the people who deal with car specs or something) but they banned in the US aftermarket hid kits. Plus, if the cop can tell if your lights are different, and find you have hids in ur headlights, I think theres a major fine for them. Just something to think about.

This is called GLARE! it doesn't suck, it empares vision to the oncoming driver which may result in accidents.

Scatter sucks.

HID on our headlights are useless, and WILL most definitively blind oncoming traffic.

Cops CAN and WILL write you for that.

</TD></TR></TABLE>if you stick to stock bulbs, atleast get something in the area of 110-115 watt bulbs, they are commonly referred to as close to HID, they put out about 3500-4500k heat range which is where HID start's, well 4000K to be more exact.

</TD></TR></TABLE>projectors aren't always the best answer for more lighting, honestly it how many watts that's being put out, or as in HID's it's how much heat is being put out, but in the watts case the higher the wattage the brigther teh light output.

I've got projectors w/HIDs on my crx. Seems to throw out a good amount of light, and have seen my car coming at me when driven by my brother - didn't blind me.

And haven't had anyone flash their brights/throw sh*t at my car/give me obscene gestures, so I guess they're ok to oncoming traffic. Even had the guy at NJ inspection tell me that they noticed my non-OEM HIDs, but passed me anyway. I should have played the lottery that night!

Seti, since you're in the UK have you seen anyone install HID into the EDM SiR headlights? Because I know that the EDM SiR headlights are H4(compared to JDM which are H4H) bulbs hence the possiblilty of installing aftermarket H4 HIDs.
