Default carsound magnaflow cat

im gonna get a new cat soon and was wondering about carsound (magnaflow). I searched on honda-tech about these cats and there are a couple of threads which talk about how these cats are not good because they can be "conjested". can anyone shed some light on this??

They are alright.

If you don't have to worry about emissions get a test pipe.

The inside of the one I had fell apart after a month so I just gutted it, such a waste. I'm probably just one of the few who has had a problem with them though.

FOR REAL!!!

I have blown through 2 of them already, just picked up one of these...

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/powercat.htm

I got the Pypes one cuz it is 50 state OBD2 legal (HARD TO FIND), but it isnt as high flow as the other. Great deals and free shipping. We will see if it holds up.

I hope you know that is not OBDII certified for California. Their 50 state legality is for 49 state OBDII and 50 State OBDI.

I work for Car Sound Exhaust / Magnaflow Performance and am willing to answer any questions you guys may have.

We also have metal substrate cats also that are higher flowing than traditional ceramic cats.

**We even have a top secret race converter** But I cant disclose any information about them as they are highly confidential, and only available to certified race teams/cars.
