Default wastegate vaccums

I did a search and it really didnt help

I need to know exactly where to hook up all my vaccums,cause the way I have them hooked up now I am running unlimited boost and my car will sputter when it gets above 4 grand,

please help

intake manifold, brake booster or get yourself a ge vacuum box. anywhere that operates off of manifold vacuum. the sputtering might be associated with your map. did you upgrade your map sensor or did you install a missing link or a check valve system? are you running the hack?

I have a missing link but its not on right now(cant find long enough screws)I am getting them tomorrow tho

Install your missing link a.s.a.p.

I think if you look into the FAQ thread there is somethin gabout vacuum diagram
Basically from your brake booster line (between the check valve and the intake manifold) tap it for vacuum/boost source. This source will be used for:
1. Wastegate
2. Blow off valve
3. Boost gage if you have one

running it off of manifold vac has the quickest response but it also creates the most heat. most people run it off of the compressor housing or tap into their charge pipes. response is not as quick but it has the least heat. and in turbo'd cars more heat isnt good

i doubt that having heated air coming into the wastegate would even matter.


to the thread creator, purchase a vacuum manifold(golden eagle,mcmaster,etc.) and tee it off the brake booster vacuum line.
