i want to paint my own car..........tips
I'm very good with my hands, and i want to paint my own car. i have the garage space, and time so what the hell. i need some tips on
stripping the car down,
both changing color and not, (what sandpaper)
and how far to keep paint gun,
at what psi 40?,
time i should wait between each coat (primer, paint, a few clear coats)

Make sure the hole on the top of the paint canister on the gun, doesnt get clogged blocking the flow of air and stopping the paint from coming out the gun. Thats what makes it look like a "Side of the trailer park" job

Researching and understanding the proccess will help alot. Buy a up to date autobody and refinish tech book. I've seen them online or go to a tech school bookstore maybe. Practice with different panels, hang some doors like they would be on a car.
