Default Rain Rain go away

well since the heavens have opened up and ALL the gods are pissing here in so cal, who here is a REAL daily rider? I mean we get maybe 30 days of rain a year, if that, so the roads are SOAKED with oil and solvents. I love riding in the rain, but I don't have a bike that I would use for that fun at the moment... tell us your stories boys!!!
thanks god for the daily driver

Is it considered tacky to quote oneself...? Oh well I've been called worse.

It was interesting, cuz I'll usually see a few of the morning crowd I see everyday on the 5, but this morning there was none.

my best rain story is.....................

i helped a good friend pick up his 600RR from San diego in November 2003. he didn't have a license or experience, so i got to ride to brand new beauty home.
on the way home it started downpouring, luckily i did have my raingear along so it made the trip somewhat manageable. however i am not so sure that i didn't **** myself. the heavy downpour and lack of good runoff made for some interesting riding, constantly drifting the bike as we made our way up the 15.

we made to his place in riverside 4 hours later. unscathed, a little tired, a little wet, and a lot more experienced riding in heavy rain.

No stories here, but I ride whenever/wherever, as long as I don't need to carry a large amount of stuff (toolbox, stands, etc).

Otherwise I bring the minivan. Minivans... *sigh*

I rode yesterday and it rained/was raining. Caged it today, I hate driving in the rain (had an accident in the rain), so I'm not gonna ride in the rain if I don't have to. Plus I have a trackday coming up. I would be pissed if I wrecked my bike before the trackday.

thinking about it myself. The gsxr will probably be traded in a few weeks for a bone stock 600rr. Maybe I'll sell the RR and pick up a motard or maybe even a MC28

Heres a MC28 and TZR250 for sale

MC28 - http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/98561454.html

TZR - http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/98454533.html

there's a 28 on ebay right now... If my weight was under 160 I might be inclined to, but seeing as I am closer to 190, I won't do that to the little two fiddy

I was trying to take a nap on a sidewalk in PB last night after walking in the wrong direction of our hotel room last night and it started pouring. It sucked; I had to get up.
