Heya okay gonna make this as short as possibly but it's a odd problem so hang in with me everyone.
Maybe a week ago i got in my car, started it up and it made a few clicks but the car started. I shrugged it off. The clicks comes from what seems to be under the dash near fuses and I also believe maybe a click int he engine bay, not sure seeing how im inside the car.
Jump to today, car won't start. Thought it was maybe a bad battery but charged it up and still the same results. I get in the car, turn on the key and get a click. Then I get complete power loss. Nothing works, no radio no lights nothing. If i wait 5 minutes, put the key back in, fuel pump will prime and everything is good to go. I turn the key and try to start, click and no power. Now before all this maybe 2 days prior, if i tried to start it the car would make like 30 clicks all fast under the dash it seems. NO clue what this could be, as I'm an electrical noob and all my problems seem to be electrical lately
any ideas? again, remember I am almost clueless
Thanks in advanced for whomever reads this novel

I had almost the same situation which turned out to be my ground on my transmission, might want to check your grounds in you engine bay. If that's not it you might want to check out your ignition relay.
i just threw my old battery...same symptoms.. my grounds were tight and all... battery showed 10.2V.... should be around 12.5 or so.. i've discharged this battery numerous times and it can't hold the charge any more...so i just got me a new yellow top with reverse terminals and i'm set for a while

kk i will try a diff battery, and i checked the batery connections they seem fine. I did a tranny swpa recently but im checked the grounds and im pretty sure they are all there. Could it be a relay or something?
since you did a tranny swap, make sure that you got the tranny ground tight and clean... it connects from tranny to chases on the passenger side...
i think the starter's ground is the tranny and the tranny is grounded to the chasis by that wire i was talking about... without a good tranny ground, your starter won't work
