y7 to y8 intake mani swap

Default y7 to y8 intake mani swap

if i wanted to swap my d16y7 intake manifold in for a y8 (ex). what else exactly would i have to change also to make this whole process work.

If your sticking with the y7 motor then use an Auto y8 manifold and use your throttle body so you could keep your 3P ecu.

No but youll have a dead IAC just chilling there. The auto one has it sealed up. Actually i think you could use complete auto intake manifold and TB and still keep your ecu because they both use the same 3P plug.

Hmm.... did i just think of something new right here
