Default just installed my spoon n1

omg...the muffler was everything i expected it to be...ppl say it probably doesn't help your car that much but I felt a decent power increase, especially top-end (definitely more than the 1-2hp that ppl claim)...i love the sound and the looks of the muffler too...well worth the money

it depends on what mods you have... exhaust pipe diameter, test pipe, intake...

with stock B-pipe and cat, it's not that loud at low rpm. not as loud as 5 Zigen or Apexi N1

I have a JDM 4-1, and AEM CAI, and I will probably use the Apex B Pipe off of my N1, will it be louder? Louder than the apex N1?

If you are using your stock cat, and the Apexi N1 b-pipe (which has a resonator I think), the noise level at low rpm and crusing speed should still be quieter.

Most Apexi N1 I have heard have been pretty loud compared to the Spoon N1. Mind you, the Spoon N1 is an axle back muffler compared to the full Apexi N1 full catback. My friend's SIR with Spoon header, test pipe, ITR b-pipe and Spoon N1 is still quieter than an ITR with Apexi N1.

Exceptions... ITR with Spoon header, Type One 2.5" b-pipe, Spoon N1... VERY LOUD

Odd Exception... ITR with ARC induction box and Spoon N1... as loud as Apexi N1

I can't guarantee how loud your setup will be, but in general, Spoon N1 are pretty quiet at low rpm and cruising speed.

i'll be running a mugen header, probably apex'i b-pipe, maybe a carsound cat. my question, will it get loud? when i get on it, does the spoon n1 have some *****?

Yeah that's what I wanna know too.. I have an Apex'i N1 right now, but I really am considering switching to a Spoon N1. I know my Apex has *****, but does the Spoon?

Also, will I be losing any power by switching from my Apex'i N1 Catback to a Spoon N1 axleback?

sorry guys...no pics cause i don't have a scanner...the sound is not too loud but just perfect (i think you hear it less if you are from inside the car)...my sister told me she could hear my car coming home from 3 blocks away!!

the car will definitely be louder with a b-pipe and aftermarket header...i will be installing my dc jdm header soon

ARJ provides pretty good service and pricing

anyways, hope to see some of you switch to spoon too cause i personnally think it sounds better than apex'i

I'm thinking about it hehe.. All I need is to sell my JDM 4-1, and my apex N1, and get a Spoon Header and Spoon N1, and I'm there!
