Default Smoking Problems????

Has anyone else had a problem with burning oil and Acura had to call a specialist?

Yea I saw it, but I was wondering how many of you guys have had problems with Acura's Warrantee people. Mine got voided because I had NOS Bottle bolt holes in the trunk, but they had no proof of it ever reaching the engine. They voided my warrantee over holes in the trunk.

There's no way they could void your warranty over holes in the trunk, unless you had the bottle in the car when you had it serviced....

(Did you use nitrous in the car? If so, Don't be bitching to acura about broken motor problems...)

Never used Nos in car. I'm scared of that stuff. I had a Chrome bottle bolted down in the back. It was for show and I do a lot of outside of work selling. Mostly just to help others out with my opertunity to get such great discounts. But I didn't have the bottle attached to the car. Everything was stock and I took it to them with the smoking problems. They searched my car in and out only finding the holes in the trunk. They told me that they expected fowl play and voided out my warranty. I'm 18 years old and I bought this car by myself. I got screwed by Acura. So, now, I've hired a skilled Acura specialist to strip my motor to prove that NOS wasn't in my motor and hired a lawyer. He wrote them a letter that they had 30 days to respond to and fix my car under warranty. Still I have no response.

Did you follow the instructions listed in the back of the owners manual that tell you to call Acura Customer Service? The local Dealerships can't simply void the warranty, it must come from someone who actually works for Acura of America, not someone that works for an independently owned Acura dealership.
