A few questions. What hp can a stock b18c GSR motor handle?
I heard it can handle about a 75-100 shot of nos, this true?
and what kind of boost could I go with maybe just enough to add about 75-100 horses for now?
if I do want to go past these limits what are the weak points of the motor? Rods? bearings? what are recommended upgrades?

 

at least just tell me what you think the max hp the engine can handle before you should start building it.

 

ok seriously, everyone says to search topics, so I do and then when I cant find an answer I ask a question no-body answers it...like its not that hard, I know that:
b18a1 can handle about 300hp before the rods and rings get too weak to handle it.
simple answer...

 

the b18c1 can handle up to 100 hp more as long as there is no detonation. Turbo and nitrous will both be good, cheaper would be nitrous but better would be turbo! you can alwayes upgrade, if you go more you will run into problems, the b18c1 has an open deck and to much stress will cause the cylinders to warp or crack! if you want more power you will need to rebuild the moter!!! it will cost more but is woth it.
