Default upgrading b16a1 cams

Would 98 gsr cams be a good upgrade from the stock 1st gen b16 cams? Is $70 shipped a good price?

thanks

yea thats sounds like a pretty good price but i dont know about getting those for cams. i would save the time and the extra money and wait and buy CTR cams. u may not have the money now but the are pretty much the premium cam for the b16. its worth using the stock cams for the extra amount of time u would have to wait to get the CTR ones. but hey thats just my opinion.

Yeah, but for how much more? Skunk2 = waste of money. Go CTR. And all you really need is the intake cam anyway, dont waste time with the exhaust.

You're going to want to change your VTEC point.

To answer your question, yes it is a decent upgrade, and for $70, it is worth it. Figure at least $400-450 to get R cams, so either save up for them, or do what I did, and buy the GS-R/newer Si cams, and then shoot for better later (Toda/skunk/jun).
