Hey guys, i just got my car back from the shop (clutch
) and now my speedo doesnt work!!! I also get a CEL when i drive for like 30 min or so. I looked around and im pretty sure everything is plugged in correctly, what should i be checking? (dont really want to take it back to the shop, b/c the guy is a greedy bastard who will proally charge me, but if i cant fix it i'll just threaten a lawsuit or something)

I had similar problems, but it just turned out to be a faulty speed sensor.
Check the back of your transmission, there should be a plug sticking out pointing towards the hood. Make sure the harness is connected to it. The inside of the harness should look something like this: [ I - I ]. Check it to make sure there is no corrosion or oil that could have seeped into it. If you have a Helms/Haynes manual handy it can tell you how to check it with a multimeter to tell if it is faulty or not. If the plug is faulty, it's $92 from the dealership, or if your like me and get lucky at "rip-a-part", you could pick one up for $8 w/ 30-day warranty.
Reply if you have any questions.

also there is two plugs that should go together down by your ecu if for some reason they unplugged that and for got to plug it back in that might be doing it to. i'm not 100 percent sure, but when i did my swap into my 99 civic i forgot to plug that in but found it quickly. it mind be differnet in your car though.
