Default Protect Alarm

I had an Alpine alarm installed at Bryn Mawr but I'm wondering what I can do to make it more difficult for a theif to disengage the alarm. There is a little toggle switch they wired under the dash for valet mode or if I loose my alarm button, but I think that a criminal could shut the alarm of with this wire/toggle switch? I'm going to be buying a electronic hook lock from autotoys.com and maybe an interior siren as well. What do you guys think I could do in addition to these ideas.

i've heard better things with the manual hood lock then the electronic one. Do a search becuase someone talked about this hear saying some cons about the electronic hoodlocks that i just can't seem to remember right now (sorry!)
