v tec controller question
Ive got the buddy club vtec controller..$50 brand new and small as hell and hides anywhere..Or you can get an msd switch,vafc,Tach shiftlight,etc..
Yes you keep your ecu..You just tap into the wires on the ecu or dizzy for rpm signal ,,Then run the vtec wire from the controller to the solenoid..Done..The only thing thats bad when running a nonvtec ecu with an external controller is the fuel maps and ignition arent the right ones for the motor..

he can get a chip that will add timing / fuel at vtec rpm. you just have to make sure the rpms are set right.
