But anyway, so here's the update.. I got the car running after putting in new plugs, new wires, draining the water, changing coolant and changing oil and oil filter... It runs but the valve tap/ slap that I used to have is now AMPLIFIED and is very loud, the car is basically very noisy and doesn't sound good.

I had my mechanic look at it and he said that the water that was in the engine has washed away the grease?? or something that was betwwen the valves and now that there's nothing there.. the sound is louder cause the parts have no grease or lube or whatever on them (I forgot what he said, my head is hurting and i feel light headed from all the gas fumes).

NOW.. since he doesn't have a shop manual for this.. he asked me to find out what EXACTLY the valve adjustment instructions are... step by step and very precise or accurate.. maybe a picture would help too...

So if someone has a factory service manual.. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!! I'm gonna have to take the damn bus everywhere now...

for an h22 the exhaust cams, the spec is .007 - .008 of an inch. For the intake cams, the spec is .006 - .007 of an inch. Not sure if it's the same on the h23
