You'll need to adjust the TPS, using the 2 screws on the back (If it doesn't have screws, you'll need to convert the OEM bald headed screws to screws, use a hacksaw to cut a flat head slit into them). Basically with the ignition switch on you want to read .5 volts at closed throttle & 4.5 volts at w.o.t. between terminals D11(+) & D22(-). Adjust the TPS however is needed to get the voltage right.

If the voltage is right, but you are still having issues then it could be other things: idle adjustment screw, vacuum leak, IAT, etc.

Did you do what 2lude4u said? You have to adjust the TPS for .5 at closed throttle to 4.5 volts at WOT. You cant just slap a TPS on and call it a day.

Hey - i think you check the voltage at the middle wire - i haven't done it in a while- but i think the middle is the signal wire......forget which color

Or - just use your vafcII.......if you go to sensor chk - it should give you the voltage readings........with the key in the on posistion, just press on the gas and view the reading.....

mine doesn't go to 4.5, but 4.3xx - so close enuough
