need tuning experts..help..
i baught a b18c w/ i/h/e, victor x mani, crower retainers, and aem cam gears, thats all that i can tell from where i stand. now for my question, the cam gears are changed. intake=3 degree pos. exh=2 degree neg. is that for an all-motor aplication or is it for boost or nos? i want to go nos n i dont want to hurt this motor. any help is nice. thanks guys
Should be in Forced Induction forum or tech section. But I am sure you will get posts on it in here also. I would first go ahead and put the gears back to zero (0). Then make sure that the timing is correct. Then get the correct plug heat range for the size nitrous shot you plan on running. Then a suitable way to retard timing for when the nitrous is activated (usually via an MSD box, i.e MSD Digital 6). Then get an adjustable regulator if you are running a wet shot, or direct port. Then get it tuned by a competent tuner. Then after you have a good baseline, you can start to adhjust the cam gears. Be careful not too much, your valves might not like it.
Good luck,
Jason
