What's the Proper coolant bleeding procedure?
I tried search but its unavailable
I want to know b/c my temp goes up but I put the heater on & it goes down.
My guess it has air pockets or should i get a new water pump since I went w/ boost..... the temp goes up after a while of driving
Please help, thanx in advance

start with teh cheapest first then go up, how old is the coolant?
if it's old just drain it and put new stuff in. make sure the bleed bolt is open, and let it pour out of there untill it's a constant stream, tighten it up and fill up the rad. With the overflow bottle empty, jack the front of the car up in the air and start the car (leave the rad cap off)
watch the air pockets bubble out and add any coolant if needed during this. Let it run for about 20 mins then shut it off, lower the car make sure teh rad is full. Put the cap on, and fill the overflow bottle to max
that's how i bled mine and i have no problems

The coolant is new, i removed old one, I'm gonna try that.
I see one thing I wasn't doing was taking rad cap off
or jacking the car up.
Thanx Alot

besides bleeding coolant, check/replace thermostat, radiator cap, check fans make sure both work, if you have aftermarket make sure its enough CFM, it was enough for my car to overheat when a/c fan blades melted, replaced with another one and problem went away, the car still runs kinda hot but doesn't overheat, so my last resort is to replace radiator, possibly go with 75/25 mix instead of current 50/50 mix

well i took off the thermostat, i'm thinking of getting the spoon radiator cap......
I have 2 aftermarket slim fans, one feels stronger so i'm gonna go to an electrician to chk CFM, it seems like the fans can be my problem.........next will be replacing the radiator

i took it off, thinking it would be the problem b/c it was a problem b4.
the thermostat looks ok, i'm lookin into changin the radiator.......
I thought it could be the water pump, but the coolant circulates, everything seems to go right until driving for while........

with the car cool take off the radiator cap, turn your heater on to full blast, start the car and then you can somewhat massage the bubbles out by squeesing the upper and lower radiator hoses filling the radiator anytime the level drops below the neck of the fill spout. I usually let the car run for 10 minutes or so occationally squeesing the hoses to get the bubbles out.
screw the spoon cap.. go to pepboys for 6.99
park on a semi steep hill with the engine up to operating temp.. crack the bleeder.. rev the engine to 2k or so then shut the bleeder when its a steady stream with no little spurts..
