22psi is way too much for slicks, put them down to about 8-10psi and try again.

Hmmm, i have never really seen a LS hatch that couldn't break into the 14's on street tires unless something was wrong. Friend was running 14.7's on up to 14.9's consistently in his hatch. With the slicks, make sure the pressure is right. Like tthame1 said, 22psi is waay too much. When you do your burnout the pressure will be raised anyways, so get to about 12psi and start going down from there. Also make sure you are not bogging with the slicks. Rev, preload, launch, and drive. Simple as that. lol, simple.....

The point is that you have room to improve. 2.2 60's on slicks are not good. You should be aiming at 1.8-2.0 60' times. My friend is around 6'4" and 240lbs, and he still managed to get 14.7 @ 93mph on street tires. The slicks might be bogging you down too much. Perhaps run on street tires and try some 20" slicks. I know some other people on here have had good luck with 20" slicks. I personally only have used 22", but it might be too much traction for your car. Just keep trying different things.

Preloading is discussed in quite a few other threads. Basically stage up and use the e-brake to hold you in position while you rev to the roof and disengauge (sp?) your clutch to the point that you almost start moving forward. This "preloads" the drivetrain thus reducing stress when you launch. People on here have run well into the 10's on 25" slicks with stock axles using this method. Play around with different launching techniques and find one that works well for you

Sorry, saw 22psi and thought it was size of slicks. 20" should be fine.

my friend ran a 14.4 in an LS with jg 301s, ls tranny and stock clutch. Gutted vx with a 2.4 60ft on shitty street tires.

I suggest lowering your tire pressure and launch at redline.
