my heat dont work in my 89 crx si. what do u think is wrong??

 

does your fan not blow? or does it blow, just not hot air?

 

Like cooter said^is your fan coming on? Did you check your fuse yet?

 

its blows air no hot air

 

samethign happened to me after i swapped in my zc...blows air but not hot air..

 

i have the same problem with my si motor

 

Make sure the valve is open..[Outlined in center of picture]
Push the valve toward the firewall to open it..

 

i thought it had something to do with that..,just had to make sure...thanks

 

if it not that what would it be

 

then its the air mixture flap not being connected.

the temperature **** changes TWO things, the heater hose valve, and the air mixture flap. the cables leading to the air mixture flap often get disconnected or malfunctioning.

the lever for this is located at the bottom of the heater core. you can get a look at it by crawling in the passenger footwell and look up under the heater core. look for the white plastic thing. reach up and twist the temp **** and you get an idea of how it works.
