Hiya.
I just want to see everyone's thoughts on my future setup, see if u guys would do anything different or see your input.
So far all i have is an AEM SRI and 2 1/4" Mandrel Exhaust to apexi N1
The AEM SRI is heatwrapped and has a custom dryer tubing Cold air thing.
Anyway, heres my list of future mods ( i have an LX for people unaware)
EX headswap running with Vafc
Kamikaze header
new highflow cat ( since LX's have cat on exhaust manifold)
Crower Stage 1 cam( commuter car, wanna keep it streetable)
Maybe some headwork since the head will already be out.
I was wondering if anyone makes a good IM for the d17a2? I know you can custom fab one from Y8's but id like one made for our engines.
Anyway have any tips ? everything sound good? anything i can do better?
I want to keep the car streetable, then after im done school i will throw a zex kit on the car.

youll find lots of specifics about your car at 7thgencivic.com sorry but it seems people dont care much to answer about our cars that often.
and yes venom makes a nice intake manifold for our cars and kms does make one but its complete crap so either mod the y8 mani or buy a venom. also PM me if your interested in a manifold and cat-back exhaust, (brand new) ive got pics and stuff.
setup sounds good, similiar to what i was going to to do (although with stage 2 cam) but instead i went turbo.

Last i heard Venom dont make one, but they make one that can be modified to work, either way for the most part bolt ons are pretty much a waste of time and money. Unless your goal is maybe 125 WHP your better off going with a swap or boosting. But to this date i havent seen any posting of WHP from the cam with mods. With what your looking in cost alone to do what your wanting to in the future you could prolly pick up a used turbo kit for about the same or LESS! and have an easy 150-200whp car.

I dont get y i wouldnt go with the kamikaze header, i would just relocate the cat to after downpipe. Its BY FAR THE BEST header made for ANY d17, with a nice 2 1/4" collector and excellent flow.
And ya, i priced out going N/A and for that setup its around 3g's. I already waisted $$ on my old crx staying N/A and only running mid 14's when i coulda turbo'd for the same price and ran 13's. Not making that mistake again.
