Default Harmonic Balencer question need helppppp

My friend has a 97 h22 prelude and he says his crankshaft pully would wobble back and forth unnormaly sometimes after driving it for a while. He took it to a local shop and they said something about his harmonic balancer being loose or going bad and he said if he drives a lot like this, its going to ruin the timing of the car, and also ruin his crankshaft???

Running an unbalanced pulley can lead to flywheel bolts backing off, spinning maind/rod bearings which will in turn ruin your rods, block and/or crank.

Don't run the car until you get a new one put on.
