Just finished my Mini mee swap...the car starts right up, but when you try to give the motor some gas, the motor just shuts off...Its a D16y8 head(stock) on top of a D16y7(stock)block...New d16y8 headgasket and D16y8 headstuds...i checked everything like 20 times know and it seems like everthing is right...

Car:1996 honda civic ex
Head:1996 D16y8
Block:1997 D16y7
Ecu:Stock P2P Ex
Walbro 255 fuel pump
STR fuel rail
Dsm 390cc injectors

this is the 3rd mini mee i've done....when i gas the car it just dies...

 

All sensors ok? Does it get fuel at higher rpm?

Could it be the fuel relay that cuts?

I don't think so....When the car idles and you give it gas it just dies...i could be but i don't know whats wrong

 

If you touch the throttle and it dies check the voltage on the TPS, see if it's in spec?
