it's actually pretty easy, we did a manual to power window conversion on his 95 ej. all you really have to do is swap out the manual window regulator and but the power one in and bolt it up. just be careful NOT TO DROP THE GLASS. next is just your wiring which really isn't even that tough. all in all it's fairly easy.he got his whole manual to power swap for like 50 bucks, and that was with the door panels and everything.

okay, i have a problem, i bought my hatch with the power window set up in stalled. Both windows were working perfectly fine except for the master switch for the passenger side window wouldnt roll that side down, I would have to reach over to hit that switch. Never mind that part, thats a whole different situation for now. But a couple nights ago, I was driving down to the gas station, and my windows were working perfectly fine. I woke up the next day and none of them roll down anymore. what should i check for? I pulled the fuses and there are no breaks. I need to know, I cant drive without having a window down. Please help me? I want to pull the relay, but i if thats bad I dont think I have the money to get a new one anytime soon. But what if it isnt the relay? What else should I check? PLEASE help me!!!

How long have you had this car? The previous owner probably had wired the left and right windows to a constant power when the ignition is turned on. Instead of doing the full swap. Hopefully they installed inline fuses.

Anyhow, check to see if you're getting any power to the switches. I have never heard of a relay going out unless it was pulled from a junked car that was sitting in the rain.

i justed wired my power window and everything works great even the master switch for the passenger side.

but if it worked the day before like you said and now it doesnt it might be a relay because both fuses cant just go out at the same time. well maybe it can iono.

you should get a friends relay and plug it in and see if it works.

check fuses 5 and 8 under the dash.

and do you know if the power window was installed with the floor harness or did the guy installed it his own way? because i wired it up my own way because i ddint have a floor harness.

I can help you wire everything up if you need help.

its best to solder so no wires can come looses. i hate those clamp things, they suck ***.

EDIT -

for those of you who dont have a floor harness like i did.

here is a look at the back of the fuse box. If you dont have a floor harness hook up the wires to the back of the fuse box like i did.

ok i know this is old but i gotta 94 hatch and a ex coupe that i bought for parts stripped and sent to the yard, i cut the inside harness as least as possible from the coupe. like i got the WHOLE thing. but i cant figure out how to get it in my hatch. i finished putting the lock motors and window motor/regulator in
but is it just plug and play? like is the hatch PREwired for windows and locks? meaning can i just run the harness thru the door, thru the body, and plug it into the harness i got from the coupe and just plug that in? or is it easier to just cut the harness and splice? and if so, are the 2 harnesses the same colors so i can just match colors from the 2??..but that would mean the hatch is prewired...? cuz if not how else is there any power going to the passenger side??

help, cuz the window is all the way up and the glass isnt on... i gotta get the power to it to lower the regulator so i can install the window... and its ******* COLD..
