This happened to me awhile ago but I just remembered, I was in the shop getting my OEM body kit put on and there was another R in the garage. It was a 98 CW ITR. I asked my mechanic what he had done. It looked pretty wrecked up. He said that it was owned by a man in his 50's who could probably give a **** what happened to it. It was the 6th! time he had been there. His car has been crashed sixtimes! he said the guy hasn't done anything to it. I lookedand there were about 50,000 miles on it and the interior looked all dirty an dusty. I wanted to take it right there and give it a better home. VEry sad. Some people just don't deserve R's

I hear ya.. but mine does get dirty too..
I love my R.. heck I love any cars I have.. but sometimes, there are other things in life that you have to take care...
that old man is a bit too much maybe.. wondering how could he stand an R..

true the 16 year olds with ITRs is annoying. I am not saying everyone because I have seen some that know when to use it and when not to, but alot are just stupid. It wasn't just dirty it was all scratched up and just looked like ***!

 

I personally know one that has one and he is far from annoying. What I discourage is the use of generalization. Not all 16 year olds are brats nor snotty-nosed spoiled ones. They are just more fortunate than others, like myself, to get one at such an early age. But some of them know what they are doing and they need old geezers, like myself, to guide them in the proper direction.

 

sorry but im going to have to agree with fuzznuts....if someone has the money to get the car then good for them, who are we to judge what someone else does with thier car.....hence the word "their" ....i could care less what anyone else does to their car just as long as it doesnt affect me i could give a **** less what they do with it or put on it(even though somethings are just not any where close to pleasing to the eye)

 

Unfortunately, that's what we are lacking in this car community...people like you.

 

Maybe the old guy was tracking the **** out of his R and spun it or hit some track debris...

Doing things TO one's ITR is a far inferior thing to doing things WITH one's Integra Type R.

Don't you think?
