all 500+ whp imports.......fuel systems
anybody out there with there 500+whp civics/integra (or any b-series) what r u guys using for ur fuel systems as far as fuel pumps and injector sizes. thanks guys!! oh yea im not too tuned in as far as fuel pumps so if u dont mind could u tell me the brand and also if its external or internal. thanks again guys!
i am also using walbro hp fuel pump aem fuel rail 880 cc and aem fpr. my fuel system is only delivering enough fuel to power 380 whp @ 21 psi.? i am confused my tuner is confused and my builder is confused. no body can figure this out.i turned the fuel pressure up to 55 psi too. every one i know is using walbro and not having a problem at all.??? it is very frustrating. so i figured i would try out another fuel pump. internal preferably.
Your fuel system is for 500+whp so there is something else that is giving up . Check your fuel line , maybe it`s damaged or something and it`s restricting the flow of the fuel ,also is your Fuel Filter in healty condition !?
That`s alot of PSI for 380 whp @ 21 psi.
Good Luck

My car doesn't run yet but no reason why it won't make 500+whp fuel sytem concists of...
Full-race sumped tank, Aeromotive A1000 pump (external), filter before pump, filter after pump, -10an feed line, Edelbrock fuel rail 5/8" I.D, Aeromotive 13109 regulator mounted directly to the rail, -6an to stock fuel feel line and that is now used for the return line, precision 95lb/hr injectors (same as 1000cc).

500+ with Walboro intank pump,1000cc injector stock rail and filter. Didn't plan on making this HP with this fuel system, but the motor ran so good on the dyno.
Been too busy to build a fuel system and turn up the wick.
Anybody know the first weak link, Line size, rail, pump etc...?

Anyone have pic of there fuel setups. I have a walbro pump now. I have all the things to do external. Full race sump aeromotive a1000 pump and braided feed lines. i am keeping stock return or using the stock feed as a return. not sure yet. Im still debating on to use it or not. I have heard storys of the aeromotive pump gettin hot on long trips and quit working. I really dont like the idea of my pump being so close to the ground. Is anyone having problems with the pump gettin fuel with the sumped tanks? lets see some pic...

Walbr0 255 intanke, AN lines from filter to STR fuel rail then to Aeromotive FPR then AN line to stock hard return.

Geeez I gotta Find the Same Crappy DynaJet Dyno you guys must be using to get those unbelievable WHP ##'s
I've been dicking with Turbos since '84 and frankly I'm having trouble getting 250 Hp out of my 2 litre Saab at 20 Psi.
But hey it's only a Steel block with Fully forged internals Puddled oil ways/crank and Piston coolers, Sodium valves, 3 " exhaust WC Turbo , Hi gh flow Bosch Injectors a dual Fuel pump system and a Trionic Engine /Turbo management system .
It pulls redline in 5th at 20 psi.. 147 mph ..on demand
Obviously I've been reading the wrong Magazines :-)

my standard 255 walbro pump started having problems at around 530whp. SX pump got me to 10.0 ET's.....fuel system is far from ideal right now...its on the to-do list for next season

the reason they burn out quickly is alot of people dont supply them with a constant voltage source

I'm using their $450 pump and -8 (1/2") fuel line for pressure and -6 or 3/8 return.
Forgot to add, neptune, and 1000cc injectors. (D16Y motor)

i heard it was 2 much voltage at idle that burnt them out.
i will be change my fuel system over the winter time to external sump
