Default Im new and have a question

Hey guys, I have an H22 swap into an EG civic. The engine is a 93 and the car is a 92. My radiator is busted, and I need to get a new one. My friend told me to get a fluidyne, but I am unsure if I need to get one for a civic, or for an H22. Also, is there a better radiator then fluidyne? Lemme know guys, thanks for your help.

Just get a stock gsr unit. Dual core. With the h22 the civic radiator would be OK, but a gsr would be better. Go with Fluidyne if you have the money, but they all cool the same way, the quality is just better.

only get teh gsr radiator if you dont have ac and dont mind fabricating mounting tabs for the radiator.

i personally use a del sol vtec radiator and it works fine in texas summers in bumper to bumper traffic.

if you buy an "h22" one you will be buying a prelude radiator....

yeah...i know...which would technically cool the engine better then one for a civic...i dunno....i think im gonna buy a koyo radiator for a civic or one for a del sol vtec as afformentioned, unless anyone really knows this is a bad idea.

buy the one that fits yer car. it will save you headaches in the end. honda are really good about cooling so even if its a lil smaller it should do just fine.

The way i see it is... your radiator is busted, logically it was a civic radiator, replace it with a civic radiator. You can replace it with a stock unit or you can get a fluidyne unit, in either case make sure the radiator you order is intended for a civic not a prelude. The gsr unit would work but as someone mentioned earlier mounting it may pose a problem and a civic radiator will be adequate. For simplicity's sake go with the civic radiator. Hope this helps.
