Default rough idle, high temp, poor response...Any Guesses?

I got a 1986 CRX HF with 175,000 miles a few months ago as a daily driver for high MPG but it needs some help. I don't know how many of the problems are related but I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had some advice for me.

I'm planning on getting:
Spark Plugs
Timing Belt
Rotor
Dis. Cap

Thinking about:
Water Pump
Thermostat

Already replaced:
Fuel Pump
Both Fuel Filters

Current Problems:
Runs warm in cold weather but normal tempature in hot weather (?????)
Rough Idle when Warm
35 MPG
Front left tire sounds like it's running over soda cans at low speeds.
when the throttle is applied at lower speeds in 2nd gear it hesitates
Clutch was slipping after heated up on a hill, seems alright now.
Car shakes pretty bad when taking the clutch out in 1st. (not because of poor driving)

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cost isn't a huge concern. I just want the hf 45-50 MPG.

is it throwing any codes. you might need new o2 sensor, that could make it run rough at low rpms

Thanks for advice thusfar. Where can you get a replacement engine that cheap? If I were going that route I'd probably want an extremely low mile engine or remanufactured engine. Are there low mileage engines for under $500 out there? I forgot about the O2 sensor. I'll pick one of those up and see how it works. If these new parts don't help at least they will be fresh for a new engine so that doens't concern me.
