VAFC PROBLEM, something with TPS?
I just noticed recently that my vafc does not read 100% on WOT. It only reads 100% when i turn on the ignition and step on the throttle. It go 92,95,96 on WOT but never reach 100%...pls help and thanks much in advance

i dont think it will do anything at all, it will just raise my rpm...also, when the car is on idle, my throttle position on my vafc keeps going up and down. it will go 0.1-1.3 without touching the throttle. Isnt supped to be 0.0 when the car is on idle?
thanks again

Take the slack out of the throttle cable too. </TD></TR></TABLE>
ok, i just did it, but i didnt check the wot, what if the WOT is 4.7v, is that too high? speaking of slack of throttle cable, if i make it just about the right lenght for the cable, the idle will be a little high than normal...but the funny thing is my throttle sensor on my vafc keept moving while the car is on idle, isnt supposed to be "0" when its on idle...its moving from 0-1.3...and it will throw cel code 7 occationally when i start punching it

may i ask y not? my car is not reading to 100%, obviously when its not reading to 100%, the car is not running to its full potential. Its about the horsepower or anything, its more of like wanting the car to run perfect.

if ur running over 90% on the VAFC then u should not worry about it too much. i've seen few cars with safc's, vafc's run in the mid 90% w/o hitting 100% at wot. it's just a error in the afc
thanks man, at least i know now that it was not such a big deal. the highest ive seen so far is 96-98%, i mean it will jump to 100% for like a sec or two and goes back in there again. I thought that i should always be 100% when WOT...thanks much
